Medical Laboratory Technologist Specific Skills

Study blood cells and other tissues; Set up medical laboratory equipment; Prepare tissue sections for microscopic examinations; Perform blood group, type and compatibility tests for transfusion purposes; Establish procedures for analysis of specimens and for medical laboratory experiments; Conduct chemical analyses of blood, urine and other body fluids; Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques
