Obtain information and prepare reports or case histories; Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs; Resolve conflict situations; Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses; Implement behaviour management programs; Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs; Assist clients/guests with special needs; Accompany clients to appointments and social outings

Experience 2 years to less than 3 years

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

First Aid Certificate; Medication Administration Certificate; Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate; Mandt System training; Developmental services worker¿(DSW)¿Training

Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 yearor equivalent experience
