Prosthetists and Orthotists Skills

Advise patients in the use and care of prostheses and orthoses; Make and modify plaster casts; Interpret physician's specification; Examine and measure patients to develop working sketches of appliances; Design, build, fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic appliances

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

Membership in the Canadian Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists

Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
