Specific Skills

Sort, pile and transport wood products; Saw, trim and plane rough lumber into dressed lumber of various sizes; Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing; Monitor logs and lumber movement to ensure cuts are made according to specifications; Clean and lubricate sawmill equipment; Clean machines and immediate work areas; Assist other processing workers; Start conveyor system to move logs and lumber to and from saws
